A vision of a child staring out across the car park
Folding eye’s against the sun’s reflecting glass
Of the temples that they walk into, then stumble out all born anew

Of children fighting sleep with TV shows
In walks a man with an idiotic grin
Grasping reality, with one more for the road

Been knocked down once, stood up twice

Of a man I wish I’d known
All his dreams and his promises all now left within the temple

Suburbia assimilates all those who he associates with,
